Requirements
- Physicians who reside in the United States, Canada, or Mexico and are ABIM, ABP, or AOBIM certified in rheumatology (U.S. only); or successful completion of rheumatology training in a residency training program approved by the ACGME; or completion of a rheumatology training program leading to board eligibility.

International Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology
Requirements
- Practicing physicians who reside outside of North America and successful completion of rheumatology training in a residency training program approved by the ACGME; or successful completion of a rheumatology training program outside of North America lasting a minimum of two years; or ACR International Member in good standing for a minimum of five continuous years.

Member
Requirements
- Practicing physician not certified in rheumatology, engaged in a rheumatology-related specialty (e.g., internal medicine, allergy, and immunology), or actively engaged in scientific research in the field of rheumatology or immunology.
- Please note: New research scientists joining will be a member of the ACR through the ARP division, thus qualifying as an ARP member type. Existing research scientists who currently hold ACR membership may continue with their existing ACR Membership.

Early Career Discount
Requirements
- Physicians in their first three years of practice post-training are eligible for an Early Career Discount of 50% off their membership fee. The early career discount membership includes all benefits.

Any Fellow of the ACR, International Fellow of the ACR, ACR Member, or ARP Member may request a 50% reduction in their dues for one year. The member must demonstrate some type of financial hardship rendering him/her unable to pay the dues in full.
Examples: sudden loss of income, financial hardship, or extended medical leave. Income information may be required. If a dues reduction is granted, journal subscription access will be available online but not in print (if subscription is included with membership). Please send written requests to membership@rheumatology.org.

ACR Small Teams Memberships must have a minimum team size of four and a maximum team size of fifteen. The team may be comprised of no more than one physician. Should someone leave your team, the membership is transferable to another team member.

- Team of 6 (1 physician + 5 interprofessionals): $905 (30% savings)
