RISE Leadership

Learn about the leadership behind the RISE registry.
Committee on Registries and Health Information Technology
The Committee on Registries and Health Information Technology (RHIT) works to support and advance the use of appropriate health IT within the various facets of the rheumatology community, such as research and quality improvement. As part of that work, the committee oversees the growth and development of the ACR’s registry technology and other clinical and administrative IT efforts, such as rheumatology data standards.

Research and Publications Subcommittee
The Research and Publications Subcommittee, a subcommittee of RHIT, oversees the processes and procedures associated with using registry data for research purposes. The subcommittee also conducts reviews of all requests for analysis of registry data to ensure feasibility and compliance with RISE standards.
Quality Measure Subcommittee
The goal of the Quality Measure Subcommittee (QMS) is to oversee the development, maintenance and review of quality measures for patients with rheumatic disease. QMS promotes the development and implementation of quality measures and quality improvement initiatives to ACR membership through publications, educational content, and implementation through the ACRs Rheumatology Informatics System for Effectiveness (RISE) registry. QMS will also liaise, as needed, with other ACR departments and national organizations focused on quality measurement.
